Oh don’t you just love transmission work 😂 I started a Tamiya kit last night and the trans is first out of the gate 🤙

Question for you sir, is there a reason you chose the Lucas grease over the grease that comes with the kit? It was my understanding you should use one type of grease for the diffs, and a different one for the trans.

I use the Lucas grease on the trail rigs and any rig that will see water. Mainly since water is bad for bearings it makes them rust. But coated in a good water proof grease it's good. Technically the kit should give you 2 different grease if you should use different in axles or trans. But they only give you one. I've never had any problems
