Put son track prep tire sauce on them, they will get a little softer. For 1/10 scale indoor racing. As an alternative spray them with simple green and let it sit for 10 min. It helps! Tire sauce is better IMO

What do you think of the 1.2 rock creepers vs 1.0 Mudslingers? Naturally I finally got my hands on a set of mudslingers last night for a decent price then the next day this vid comes out.😂
@2fmrc3 жыл бұрын
The mudslingers are a better grip tire imo. They are much softer and should do better in most stuff but the larger size of the 1.2s is nice also!
@rcrockcrawler3 жыл бұрын
I've shaved the side walls and cut the width of the nobs. Made them a lot softer and are fantastic for climbing high obstacles. But they do have trouble in other situations, as you can see here kzbin.info/www/bejne/oHeuc4KgZ5iKY8U I solved the problem by trimming the nobs to half the size. Lost maybe 2 or 3mm in height, but they're super duper grippy now!

Man that thing is a beast! Quick question, do you run foams in your mudslingers?
@2fmrc3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Kinda depends on the weight of the truck. This rig is lightweight so I’m running some bogger foams in the front and none in the rear. They aren’t vented either. If venting them I’d probably go with the smaller foam in both but I’d have to see how they feel. You could probably even cut the foams that come with them. They just seem a bit stiff with the foams they come with for my liking. Maybe if they were vented those would even work well.
@tunesms12393 жыл бұрын
@@2fmrc Thanks for the input! Yea I agree the stock slinger foams are too stiff even with vented wheels and without they are way to soft if using the vented wheels. I’m going to try them using some foams I have sitting around from a set of Pats.
