Hello and welcome back to my Donkey Kong 64 101% full game guide! Today, we'll be starting the final main level in the game, Creepy Castle! It's Lanky Kong all day, and that means we have to do what is in my opinion the hardest golden banana in the entire game.

What sniper is really for is long shots that they put in Creepy Castle where normally your "bullet" would despawn before hitting, not that you couldn't see what you were aiming for. It's one of those we needed one more upgrade for the sake of it and now here's where we'll use it situations.

I found Beaver Bother to be annoying, but not as much as the Donkey Kong minigame and the beetle races. It's kinda funny, as Creepy Castle looks like the only level that did Kongs' sections a bit better. As you climb the castle, you have two long rows of colored bananas for three Kongs, and they're interrupted by Banana Warps and Tag Barrels, allowing you to get all these collectables without all that much needless backtracking.

..,this isn't the last level, and he's not the first Kong on the final boss. Though he may be the first Kong to die on King Kutout--unless Scykoh plays perfectly.

It was satisfying to see the Golden Banana that taunts you from the beginning of the game finally collected. I cannot tell you how many times I tried to cheese it to collect it (since I never played further than Fungi Forest). Thanks for the daily uploads Scykoh!

I feel like there are a couple sections where the scope sniper mode is necessary, and remembering that this game is for children would make it more necessary to have something to aid, certain shots, such as a grape or target banana where you have to shoot long distance later in creepy castle and when donkey is trying to shoot to target to raise the water in the same level

Oh damn, I had a suspicion I knew exactly which golden banana it was because I remember that Beaver Bother challenge. I know I never beat it as a kid and it may have been of one if not the only golden bananas I never got for a 100% playthrough. Now I'm tempted to setup a pc emulator and get a controller to replay the game for a 100% challenge

think that beaver bother took me 5 tries or so when I got 101%. The mecha fish in gloomy galleon took me hours because I had all shooter upgrades and had to learn the timing to get my shots to connect as soon as the valves opened. that dang fish almost made me quit 101%

Me, painstakingly succeeding beaver bother in creepy castle. Creepy Castle: Well done, now do it again. Me: FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU What annoys me about creepy castle beaver bother above all of the problems it has is that there are 2 of them to do. (the other is with Chunky I believe)

Nah, beaver bother wasn't the one that got me as a kid. I made the mistake of getting super duper simian slam before completing the pumpkin minigame in Crystal Caves. I don't think it's possible lol

21:00 I cannot, for the life of me, beat this mini game. Funnily enough, I’m amazing at this game. I’m spooking the beavers at the perfect time and angle ever single time. I can tell because I’m getting them to run directly towards the hole. Only problem is, there seems to be an invisible barrier that’s selectively preventing them from falling in the hole. Very fucking annoying.

I’ve had 4 separate attempts where I got the first 10 beavers in 30 seconds and for the second half I can’t get a single one because they refuse to go in the hole, literally facing the hole and walking in place. Unreal
