key point is mac is a necessity? I have mac osx high sierra. i have a zuluscsi red board and a scsi2sd v5.1 i would prefer to use the latter though. Hopefully some of these steps apply to that too. This is very nicely done and right on time. Thanks my guy/

I have both and Zulu is more flexible, you can keep 100 images with sample libraries on SD card then if you want to use one just rename it (eg HD3.img)

My scsi2sd card fried over the weekend after year sof use. Looking into these Zulu ones. For my Akai s1100 & S3000 Classic I had to use USB power ( I had my card setup external and used to plug a usb cable into a wall plug to power it) do you still have to do that with the Zulu ones?

It works fine with S3000 but S1000 needs usb power

Different formats. You would need Translator 7 to convert first.

Thanks. I have mine up running. Are you able to boot from the zulu? More importantly. I would like to have my preset autoload. I can do it on floppy. No luck with the Zulu.

There is delay, zulu is detected like 2s after turning sampler on

i installed a amigakit v5.1 to my s3000xl i am able to format the disk but how can i load some files into the sd card because after i format it with the akai my mac need to initialise the sd card ? i saw some videos who someone works with an old pc and scsi pce card but i dont want to buy an old pc is there a possibilty to work with an mac? in these case
