My laptop gave up and had no way to empty the footage off my camera, i have now built myself a new pc and can crack on again, i cleaned the car out today and gonna continue with it tomorrow, video will be on patreon next couple days and on here over the weekend

Looking good, well maybe not the rust! but seems pretty solid all told. We've got a 2600 that should be getting a lot more work later this year

Not the best SD1, but by no means the worst either! Looks like quite a lot of work needs doing, but you have a great basis to work with. And the engine still runs, so that's a huge bonus. Very much looking forward to more vids on this. What is your ultimate goal, a full resto to showroom condition, and do you think you will achieve it? I know it will be very tricky sourcing parts etc, but it's amazing what can be found out there, when you look hard enough. Good luck, would love to see this beauty back on the road, and looking sweet again.

its actually a fairly solid shell but was sat for awhile so all the paint faded, initially i was going to make it a nice everyday car but its been in storage for over a year now and plans have changed and i am going to make her a little bit special, i have been waiting for a new unit which is now finished so she will finally have her own space so work can commence, videos will be coming soon

Enjoyed this! Nice work. I guess the worry with one of these is the new high ethanol content fuel which screws up the fuel system and causes a risk of fire. Are you going to upgrade the fuel system as part of the resto?

Yes everything will be ugraded as I go, the biggest upgrades will be suspension and brakes, won't say won't the plans are now but keep watching 😉

@@DGRetroCustoms Love the channel, I'm sure you remember that the highlight of any motorway trip as a kid was being passed by a police jam sandwich 3500 SDi doing a tonne with lights flashing, while your parents panicked to try and get out of its way quick enough.
