Just bought one from you on ebay. I've been sitting here all day trying to diagnose and repair my 1541-II disk drive and I've had enough of that headache lol. Went to ebay, saw your listing and bought one. Much easier. Now, if I can sell my dead 1541-II for 64 bucks, it's like I got the SD2IEC for free. 😁

Thanks for the video. After watching how easy this is to use, I ordered one from you. I never had an Epyx Fastload cartridge back in the 80's, so the speed boost and ability to use an SD card will be wonderful.

Found this link on ebay from your ebay listing. Gonna get one. I have three dead 1541s and don't want to mess with them any more. I love the fastload commands. This thing is great.

This is a a really good setup except for 4 screws and jumpers inside. I move mine around too much to have to unscrew something. At least use latches or some other quick attach on the outside if you can't use code or get the jumpers outside and change to dip switches. Just constructive criticism to help get to a final product. Great job! I'll buy one once improved a little. Almost there.

@@retrokelpie7606 A competitor without epyx has a protective hole in the casing with dip switches.

Nice. changing drive numbers isnt something ive had to do a whole lot. But the nice thing is, if you dont want to mess with switches or jumpers. You can put in a command to change the device number, then another to save it on the chip and just as simple to change it back. Been planning to follow up this video (my first ever) with these features demonstrated since I made this one, which is probably way too long.

the only thing thats in the way for me to order this is the lack of D71 support. For regular C64 games Im fine with rather cheap "tape replacement", I need a solution for 1571 disks under GEOS and CP/M. If this would run, your product would be killer....

Ive been using D81 images running GEOS for a long time now. Do you have a source of D71 version of GEOS i can test?

question, how do you move the file browser to the top of the directory? (so i will be able to use only commodore and run - stop key to load it)
