The Neue Arkana stands for a new generation of SUVs that can be described as “hybrid” in two respects - in terms of style and drive. The shapes of a coupé are combined in the New Arkana with a high seating position, a generous amount of space and a large trunk, but they also ensure a new form of sportiness. The new approach introduces a new, emotional and dynamic component into the SUV segment. The RS Line equipment line takes this sporty design even more into account. Renault does not compromise on safety either. This is proven, among other things, by the 5-star rating in the EURO NCAP crash test.
Renault also relies on innovative hybrid drives for the engine in the New Arkana. The E-TECH 145 as a full hybrid and the 1.3 TCe with a 12V micro-hybrid and 140 PS are available in advance. The 1.3 TCe 12V-Micro-Hybrid with 160 PS will follow in October 2021.
The Neue Arkana meets the expectations of customers in a wide variety of international markets. This demonstrates the global orientation of the Renault Group and its ability to quickly adapt its range to the demands and needs of new markets. Technically, Renault aligns the New Arkana to the different market needs. For Europe, it is based on Allianz's modular CMF-B platform, as is already the case today for the latest generations of the Clio and Captur.
The new Renault Arkana will be produced at the Busan plant in South Korea, where it will be built by Renault Samsung Motors in parallel with the XM3. It can be ordered in Europe since March 2021. In Switzerland, the market launch will take place in June 2021, optionally with the TCe 140 EDC Micro-Hybrid (12V) or the E-TECH 145 as a full hybrid.

@@Ponaz Thanks for asking. Im really happy with it. Its not a very fast car and I still have to find out what the best way it is to drive to save as much fuel as I can. Besides that the positive points are that in reality the car is even more beautiful than on photos or film, the handling is great, it's very comfortable and the interior quality is excellent.

Yo compré uno, precioso, pero cuando se mira con detenimiento se observan unas cadencias y fallos en el montaje y posteriores controles de calidad, los faros delanteros o ópticas, no se integran bien en la carrocería, sobresaliendo de ella, se reclama a atención al cliente, tras comprobarlo en varios concesionarios que el problema no sólo es mio, echan balones fuera, no dignandose no asumiendo su responsabilidad

Renault cars are usually underpowered. This, the Koleos, Megane - all. It's strange because Renault has a F1 team. You would think they are up their game of extracting last drop of power from an engine. But no. Renault cars have 76-82Kw/tonne power when competitors have 81-87Kw/tonne. They are not underpowered by a lot. As a family car they are adequate. Just not fun.

@@Subh8081 Thats not true, there are models with turbo engines 1.3/1.6 which for smaller car is enough. We have 2019 Captur 1.3 turbo, it goes to 100km in under 9s, and its torque from turbo is huge. But Renault should include powerful engine options for bigger cars, that bigger weight would be moved as smooth as smaller cars. Its not fun to drive brand new but slow car. :)

J'ai acheté Arkana Zero et j'ai quitté le showroom. J'ai entendu le bruit du moteur, puis je suis revenu vers eux. Ils ont dit que la voiture devait être vérifiée. Le moteur avait un problème, et aussi la boîte de vitesses. J'ai vendu la voiture, sachant que j'ai perdu 5000 mille euros.défaut de fabrication

I paid a wee bit extra for the opening Sunroof. Whoever thought it was a good idea to make the car interior roof liner in Black should be sacked.!

@@teefx5681 Yes it is. I didn't like it at all. I sat in a CAPTUR and I felt claustrophobic. Luckily the Arkana RS line demo car had a Sunroof. The difference... No pun intended.. Is like night and day! I felt safer because the visibility all around was improved. I am 60 and I thought it was worth the extra cost. Younger drivers might like the total black interior. Bearing in mind that the leather is also totally black. With some Red stitching for aesthetics.

Great review! Havent seen any negative reviews but yours is the most positive and detailed. I fell in love with the looks and after driving it had to have one. Ended up with the base model to save some money as it is really loaded with tech and equipment compared to other brands. It really is a perfect daily driver. Practical, awesome fuel/K's return, beautiful design, quiet and comfortable cabin, comfortable ride, HEAPS of tech (standard for the money), cheap to insure, cheap to maintain, cheap to run, safe, 5 year warranty, 5 year roadside, 5 year capped services, cheap parts. NO ONE is offering what this car has for the money

And when you go uphill many,many km small benzin KW is a big trouble,there is no battery help and then car is awful...Better option is 1,33ccm 140hp.

It’s not actually, it’s not a BMW X4 but it’s quicker than a Subaru Outback 2.5ltr and you get 6.1ltr per 100km. It’s not a sports car, it’s a daily driver and built to a budget. The equipment and tech for the money is fantastic. Besides an MG, what other vehicle has ALL the same tech for the same money at base level that is an SUV?
