I bought a st-line x a couple of weeks ago. Love it so far although here in New Zealand we don't get the Vignale, so the quality is not as good. I'm also a bit disappointed that some of the features that I enjoyed in my 2017 Focus have been discontinued in the new one - multi-link rear suspension, lumbar seat adjustment, sunglasses holder, little cubby by driver's knee, keyless unlocking of rear doors, dual tone horn 😢 Lots of other stuff to compensate though 😆

I vote for this Focus, it just seems a lovely package with classic hybrid drivetrain and that roof. The Astra is lovely but seems overpriced a bit

Great video. So glad you done this one as have this exact car on order that will be nine months this month. Same colour matrix head lights panoramic roof an automatic have all options ticked. Can’t wait to get it been a long wait. So hopefully not long now. 👍🏻

Great video! Do you feel any difference in driving or accelerations between the 2 options of the engine? Is this with 155hp much better and worthy than the other with 125 hp? Thank you !

I would vote for focus if there was a 4 cylinder engine, my 1.0 Fiesta blew a piston up at 130k kilometers

I had a 2017 Focus ST 2 litre, with approx 88,000 miles on the clock. The engine blew up when I was doing about 70 on a dual carriageway one night, live lane breakdown and spilt oil everywhere. Will never buy another Ford performance car.

That is the problem, 1.0L at 155hp is savage, too much stress for each pistons.. No doubt why VW Only makes 150hp in 4cylinders at 1.5L, feels way more safer

I've got an ST-line on order, however thinking of changing it to a st-line vignale after seeing this review. The seats do look amazing in that leather. From your experience of driving both the standard st-line and the st-line vignale, is there a big difference in comfort? I originally went for the standard st-line due to the comfort of the 17" wheels. Is the ride with the 18" too firm over bumps etc?

No big difference in terms of driving feeling...you won't feel a big difference

Vignale is same spec as Titanium x Spec with stylistic differences only but it costs more.. So that's a scam straight away. Obviously the Ecoboost engines are known to be very troublesome and unreliable in all versions too. & Let's not even talk about the 'Powershift' automatic transmission problems that are also well known.. Yeah... Great Car I'm sure.

Nothing to do with the old "PowerShit" units, these are new boxes made by Magna Powertrain with wet clutches. The engines also no longer use an oiled timing belt, but rather, a proper chain. With the (optional) 8 year warranty, not sure I would mind one.
