As part of Ford’s commitment to offer 14 electrified vehicles by 2020, the Kuga is available with three hybrid options: A Plug-in Hybrid, EcoBlue Hybrid, and from late 2020, a Full Hybrid will complete the trio. A choice of four electric vehicle (EV) modes means you can decide whether to run on power from the electric motor (EV Now), the petrol engine (EV Later), via a combination of both (EV Auto), or use the engine to recharge the Hybrid battery while you drive (EV Charge). So, you can make easy work of any journey, while keeping your city driving clean, quiet and refined.
The All-New Kuga Plug-in Hybrid comes with two standard charging cables: one for regular home charging, and another for public charging stations.
Want to make charging your Plug-in Hybrid at home as fast as possible? With the help of one of our expert installation partners, you can install a Ford Wall-Box at home as an optional accessory. Capable of charging your Kuga from 0-100% in under 3.5 hours, the Ford Wall-Box offers much faster charging times than a conventional plug socket.
When you’re driving, a combination of regenerative braking and power drawn from the engine helps replenish the battery. And if you need to recharge on-the-go, you can easily use an ever-growing network of public charging stations too.
When you stop at traffic lights or your vehicle is idling in a queue, this technology can automatically switch off the engine, while still supplying power to the essentials. When you're ready to move, just depress the clutch and select first gear as usual, or press the accelerator on an automatic vehicle, and the system seamlessly restarts. Auto-Start-Stop is particularly effective in town and city streets, where it can cut fuel consumption by up to 10% (urban cycle).
For models with automatic transmission, Kuga’s Rotary Gear Shift Dial gives you complete control of the advanced 8-speed gearbox - allowing you to seamlessly select gears with the simple twist of the dial. While replacing the conventional gear leaver frees up additional space for a cleaner, more refined interior design.

Salut! Interesant video! As fi interesat de o masina ca asta pentru a o folosi zilnic, cum este cu fiabilitatea cu acest motor pe benzina cat si electric, ce consum are si cat poti kilometrii poti face cu un plin de benzina? Regards!!

Salut Daniel, ein cate stiu motorul pe benzina este foarte fiabil, masina răspunde excelent în combinația cu cel electric ....acum nu stiu ce sa zic în timp. Cred ca în jur de 850km cum un plin.
