SDCC 2024 S.H. Figuarts Goku w/Gohan and Flying Nimbus

Like in previous years, tickets will be available at the Dragon Ball outdoor activation located at the Marina Terrace | Mariott Marquis. Here is a link with detailed information. It also includes purchase limits.
Non-Dragon Ball Exclusives - Neither SHF Kakashi or SHMA Godzilla require tickets. Attendees can walk right up to the booth to purchase either or both of these figures without a ticket. Also, Godzilla will be available at both the TAMASHII NATIONS Booth 3329 and our GODZILLA Booth 3345, which is right next to it.

Those faces are the best they've done. FWIW, this is strictly a pre-battle with Vegeta version of Goku, since by the time he fights Vegeta, he trained with King Kai and has King Kai's kanji on his back.

I love the art style for late Dragon Ball/ early Dragon Ball Z. This really captures that look. I was thinking the Gohan was static figure, but he's got some articulation. Considering what he is dressed in that should be enough movement for the little guy.

What's ironic about the SDCC stuff is even the Japanese people struggle to get them because they had to buy them through proxy or auction site. While I don't mind them being sold early for con goers, I wish they have worldwide release after it's over, but nope, I heard last year they opened up P-Bandai sale for US customers only.

@@TamerChris Japan gets all the other figures first, and they're available everywhere. In Europe, we only have one Tamashii webshop, which is based in France. When I order figures to Germany, I end up paying a fortune in shipping costs. Figures released in Japan in May might not reach us until October, if we're lucky.

​@@jimjones8993yes, and not to mention that bandai France only ships to France, not to Germany 🤷🏻‍♂️ I'd love to have this figure so bad, but I won't pay 100€ + shipping and taxes to reach 130 or so, just to have it in Germany. that's ridiculous. this figure shouldn't have been an exclusive in the first place!

Gohan is cute. Wouldn't mind a proper figure with that outfit. Nimbus tails are a nice touch. Goku's faces lookin' decent, and return of the power pole is nice too.

I saw they have a stand piece that one end grabs Goku and other end hold on to the nimbus at the showcase. They didn’t included that so It’s so hard balancing Goku & Goku on it.

This goku is basically end of Dragon Ball to Raditz, he had King Kai's logo when fighting Vegeta not the Turtle School logo he also didn't wear this during the Tree of Might he had the Go logo which is the same as the Frieza Saga gi.

It’s actually pre-Vegeta Goku (so Raditz and the Dead Zone movie with Garlic Jr. + the show’s intro). We know because King Kai added his kanji to the back of Goku’s gi when he finished his training, but this figure still has the turtle kanji on the back. We actually still haven’t received a version of Goku exactly as he appeared when he fought Vegeta and Nappa. FWIW in the movie World’s Strongest Goku has the King Kai kanji on his back and in Tree of Might he has the Goku kanji (the gi he started wearing in the Namek Saga).
