The Big Thing Live show was broadcast live on Italian TV and I used to have a bootleg VHS of it bought from a seller in the ads in Record Collector magazine lol. And yes, it was never released officially in any form at the time.

I miss the good old days when CD's were housed in proper jewel cases. The Arcadia Box looks particularly good, one my favorites in my own collection.

It would have been a great time for some new boxsets. I'm sure there's plenty of rarity's with unreleased versions out there along with the great quality 1980-81 demos that have resurfaced. An expanded Arena would be amazing too with the full footage from the gig not just the 11 songs. P.s. great video BTW Paul and keep up the sterling work. ✌

We need Medazzaland deluxe CD - loads of track options and demos, also wedding album and Reportage. There is probably also a case to be made for a limited edition Liberty release. ( not a jewel case!)

I've got all of these I totally luv um arcadia should av been a Duran Duran album I wish they would do the wedding album as it's got the most video streaming on KZbin come on done 247 million and ordinary world 127 million so all is die hard Duranies are waiting for this as there's thousands and thousands and thousands awaiting for this to be released the album demos remixes and especially the vinyl I've got that much on this band and still collecting I can't remember if I av or not lol thx for sharing and your comments cheers 🥂🍷🥂

Love all that stuff ❤, are a Design graphic mistake in the Strange Behaviour DVD reissue cover, the center black stripe no are right and perfectly aligned (😅 im graphic designer and when buy the boxset was my first dissapoint)

Duran Duran did perform Skin Trade for the closing credits for Top Of The Pops on the 26/02/1987 unfortunately cut very short and full version wasn't televised. Duran Duran - Hammersmith '82! DVD has the band live at Hammersmith, plus 6 music videos from Rio and 2 Top Of The Pops performances, this DVD came out in 2009. I would prefer these albums remastered in 5.1 and put on Blu-ray.

Loved this video! No idea why the booklets didn't include the lyrics when previous CD editions did? - EMI were making some strange decisions around this time for sure with regards to the packaging of reissues.

Nice packaging and photos, but i really hate these slipcases for the discs, a few pulls and these will be all scratched up. I hope if theyre doing boxes, a digipak with tray would be better.

Sounds like the re-issues are going to be completely lacklustre. Poses the question: why bother, if they can't make the effort? Is there any interest from Universal Music Group, Paul, to release Blu-ray audio versions of these albums with or without Atmos?

Warners own these, not Universal. If they were on Universal there would probably be a chance!

AT THE TIME OF BIG THING 2CD + DVD RELEASING I SUPPOSE THE CAMPAIN WOULD CONTINUE WHICH NEVER HAPPENS AS WELL AS EUTHRYMICS DELUXE EDITION ALSO. I GAVE UP THE WAITING AND I DO NOT HAVE HOPE ANYMORE. THE 80S GENERATION IS GETTING OLD AND THE NEXT GENERATION DO NOT GIVE A DAWN TO WHAT THESE (AND MANY OTHERS) BANDS WERE. THE TIME IS PASSING AND MANY OF US WON'T BE HERE ANYMORE IF THESE DELUXE EDITIONS WILL COME OUT SOMEDAY. AS I SAID I DO NOT HAVE HOPE ANYMORE. I PREFER TO FACE THE TRUETH IT'S REALLY SAD 😢😢😢

@@peartfaldo Regarding reportage, thankfully they are working with Andy again with this project, so probably due to health issues and work commitments. But I think if we are going to get a re-release we need it to be special not a 2010 crap remaster. If they keep the same camera clicks on Girls on film then thats criminal. Even Andy corrected it back then on a post and shared it and said it took him less than 2 minutes to do.
