Fully agreed! However, Death DTA plays from all seven Death albums live. So, any bass playthrough performance from any Death album is more than welcome :)

I fuckin' love THAT bass, starting by the see-thru green color and finishing on the brass nut. That bass sounds so loudly not only for Steve' s amazing style but for its own specs that I know like the fingers of my hand: a swamp ash body, EMG 40-HZ passive pickups, EMG B64 3-band preamp, bolt on maple neck with ebony fretboard, brass nut, 35" scale length... it's an amazing gear of war!!!

When I saw you play live in 2001 at Thrash of the Titans you used that Bass for the Legacy set, you used the dark purple one for Sadus set, they both sounded badass then and I am pleased they still sound badass. You played that bass when I saw you again with Testament and then again with Sadus, I always liked that green ESP and your Carvin bass tones!

Steve is a true genius. He even figured out Teslas wireless energy for amps. I want to take my stack into the woods and play too... Is this not the best practice studio ever? Sunshine a little shade and all the nature. Question Steve.. Did you have your three finger technique before Death and Sadus, or did you develop it to fit the music?

Hey Steve! Long time fan here! I just wanted to ask what made u pick up a fretless bass in the first place. In my experience it seems most metal players want to stay far away from fretless. What made u wanna try it out? I love the awesome ascending slides you do, it really gives the songs an awesome feel

That's a sexy ESP you have there. I have both 5 string and 4 string neck-throughs from the F-series. Did you have the fretboard replaced to get the fretless thing, or was it defretted and filled in for you? That's making me reconsider whether I should sell off my ESPs or have one converted to fretless...
@tornadosimon15703 жыл бұрын
