Yeah, the Germans always had the best tanks and armour. This is just one of the versions the Germans developed. The armored vehicle that they used the most was the Sd. Kfz. 251 (1). Search it on Google to see how it looks.

In order to let the viewers see and admire the mean's interior and crew seats and stuffs just try to let loose some parts of the model itself and also - or maybe - just try to let the hatches of the main turret open or do not fix the main guns / turrets to the rest of the armored car's chassis... And the interiors of the tank car are visible.

Very nicely done! A note on your tires, an observation I made as a truck driver on dirt roads, is that the side walls of the tires will get dusty from the dirt, but the surface that contacts the road, doesn't retain much dirt at all. Just enough to give the rubber a little discoloration. And that was from 7 years of driving a truck in the mountains in Colorado. Very dusty and dry in the summer, and slick and icy in the winter! Same thing for planes too, especially on paved runways, the surface that contacts to pavement stays fairly clean compared to the sides of the tires.

Well I’ll bear that in mind. Just wish I found this comment a few hours sonnet because I ist did pigments on my panzer 2 and lrdg command truck.

The return rollers and the main wheels, and on the top of the tank where the sand got trapped. You can also spread it all over the tank (depending on how much you want to weather it.) and then blow the excess off or tap it off. This will give it a dusty coat. Do this before the other steps. Ps. I meant to make it one comment but I accidentally sent it while I was correcting it.

Hey David! Great job with the model! Few things to add if you allow me: Great choice with Wagner music, thank you for that! The rust dots you do are great, but I believe that no such thing can appear on the welding lines. Tires with this kit look a bit odd. Can they be substituted with resin ones? If you do German armor, let me know, either here or through Google Plus. I will send you some mask samples from our shop. I think you will find them more realistic compared to the decals you used. Thank you for your video, it was a pleasure watching it! Best,

That's the problem with the MAJORITY of modelers i've seen. They use weathering effects that simply don't/didn't EVER exist.

Regarding access to the interior. A silly question: How hard is to modify the model structure so the body and the chassis separate, so the beautiful interior can be displayed if desired?
@RB55able2 жыл бұрын
Beautiful and inspiring work. I like your idea of using Tamiya XF-78 Wooden Deck Tan for the base coat to prevent the vehicle from turning out too dark. Your build really has that sun faded look of North African desert armour.

I don't know what it is about it but it's lacking somehow. The paint job is great. Weathering is good and realistically balanced. Nice touches like the jerry can an off color. Good cab detailing.
