This is a replica, made by someone at home. There are only three Sd.Kfz.222 left in the world, one in the US, that is running, one in Russia that is stripped to the bone and not running and a recently restored one in the UK by the Weald Foundation. The Weald Foundation one is an original vehicle and has all its interiors fitted with original parts and it's in running condition.

Ac? I thought it was considered an AA vehicle Atleast that’s what war thunder calls it I’m newly interested in all military history as I’m joining the military soons I turn 18 this coming July 2nd

@@FriendlyRider88 it was used in the Reconnaissance Battalion of a Panzer Division. It had a 20mm auto cannon that was not configured to have AA capability. The AA units of German Divisions had specially designed AA guns mounted on trucks and half tracks.

@@Redwhiteblue-gr5em I understand now completely but if you play the video game war thunder they consider it an AA that’s the only reason I got confused but I do love using this vehicle in the game because it can kill tanks and aircraft both with the 20mm I’ve just never seen one in real life till I seen the video.

Comparing a museum model to this one, this looks like a reproduction. Its missing equipment brackets and the engine access covers look wrong.

@@icepicjoey You'd be correct. Biggest giveaway is the fact its using leaf-sprung live-axles as opposed to it having independent suspension. This one is built off of a land rover chassis I believe
