There was a really heartwarming story about Guy Gaudreau as well, he was with the flames for their morning skate and the flames equipment manager (Mark DePasquale) is the same guy from when Johnny first started there. Mark had kept an extra of one of Johnnys sticks from his time with the flames, and so that stick was the one given to his father to use (and keep) during the practice.

Steve there’s literally no reason to be hating on Tommy Novak. He’s like an actual top 6 player that’s just not adjusting to the new regime in Nashville. He’s gonna get waived or traded and return to a guy who’s on pace for 60-70 points a season. Besides that I literally do not know why you guys talked about this due to the fact, STAMKOS HAS BEEN A CENTER HIS ENTIRE CAREER, HE HAS EVEN PLAYED 2C IN TAMPA AS RECENT AS EARLIER THIS YEAR. Nashville already has a second line center, they are willingly choosing to not play him there, that’s what should be criticized. Not Tommy Novak 😭😭😭. As a Jets fan I want to defend them a little bit.. first off I will give you they do not look as good as they did in the bit... However if you look at what the Jets have had to deal with the last few weeks is insane they have been screwed over by the schedule makers worst then I have seen in a while l. They had a semi long road trip, 1 game at home then a monster road trip that made them circumnavigate the entire US... And get back for just one game... They have also lost Ehlers and samberg and also it is evident schifelle is hurt.. I pray that they can turn it around on their next road trip.. God I can't wait for them to be home
