Trying to learn.... when you setup the AM Demodulator you set the demod shift to 25,000 Hz. Why?

This is great - thank you so much for the tutorial. There are a couple of settings I don't understand. What is the reason for the 25kHz frequency offset in the AM demod and why set the channel spacing to 25kHz when airband uses 8.33kHz ?

I use this Software with my Sdr Play RSP Duo and Dx SDR's, like this Software because it can also decode DATV Videos Signals,
