@@skillbopster it has to do with Soeun's advice. Soeun told her that Soe should treat herself going to Paradise as a gift to herself. If you remember Soe said that with Yoongjae she still had some lingering feelings and that she felt that if she went with him she'd finally be able to let him go (which is bullshit because why would you torture yourself when he led you on so much so that you had to drag the rejection out of him?), whereas with Sejun she feels "grateful". And by grateful, she may have felt that she owed it to Sejun to choose him (since he made her feel better). And this is why Soeun told her to treat Paradise as a gift; that if she were Soe, she would choose someone different from last time. And that's why Soe chose Hanbin. They're kindred spirits and they're just really good friends. She wanted a night of fun with no strings attached (plus I bet some advice lol). It's probably why Sejun said he was okay with her choice. He has an idea of what Soe has been through and he knows that Soe won't immediately go for him. As much as I love Sejun and Soe as a couple, Soeun gave her pretty great advice. That was nice. Even though Soe didn't choose Sejun, I hope that she becomes interested in him and he in her (more than he already is) by the end of the show. Now that I've said that, I don't remember the reason Soe gave Hanbin for choosing him. I should rewatch that episode.

He should've joined earlier. He is by far the most entertaining male cast in the show even though he didn't do much lol Nowadays bad boy style is still very popular but a gentleman and elegant guy can attract so many fans too. Sejun just joined the show but he already has so many viewers who are rooting for him. Soe used to be a bit annoying to some people because they viewed her as a desperate and slow witted girl but for me, she's an honest and straightforward person. I mean if people can accept Jongwoo as a sweet and loyal guy then why couldn't they accept Soe as well? At least, Soe already gave up on Yoongjae... Meanwhile Jongwoo had a huge crush on Seulki who only had eyes on Jinyoung...

Fr though, like I get that they were surprised and it was nice they clapped for her, but it just felt like they really didn't expect HER to be chosen. The only dude I genuinely like from all of them except Se-jun(man's a variety king) is Han-bin. When they went to paradise, I loved how he told her how he really felt when she was chosen. He wasn't "surprised" she was chosen, but worried for her because he understood how she felt at that time. That made my damn heart melt. We need a best friend like him.
