Actually there could be a very simple explanation for a crumb on someone's eyelid or eyelash. If a person is eating something crumby (not bad crumby, like something that has a lot of crumbs) and they get some crumbs on their finger and then go to rub their eyes without knowing the crumb is there... that could be what happened there.
