As some one looking to get a new ski for family fun the new GTI with 170 hp and able to receive the ski pilon its sure tempting to grab one. I was dead set on getting a stx-15f or a 180 hp yami but now it's a tough choice.

i wouldnt worry about the platic hull ... it will sink from the carbon ring or blow a head gasket before you get a chance to crack the hull

Don Dickerson but the techs say that seadoo headgaskets don’t fail. I presume you had one fail also. For the record BRPs repair was subpar and incomplete I had to rebuild my motor and void my warranty. Never buying BRP again but they sure are pretty to look at. Rofl

Cost savings? Lower manufacturing costs allow for additional features at a similar price-point to the consumer.

I had a 2015 rxt 260and prior to that a rxp I can't remember what year it was but never had any problems with reliability I sold my jet skis a few years ago and thinking about getting another one I might get a Yamaha this time what everybody's opinion I know people hate on Sea-Doo but I never had a problem with reliability

Complete change on the fish pro. It's now the GTI platform, instead of the GTX.

Always tempted to buy a Seadoo because of the price, but this stuff and the reliability reputation really unsettles me, I'll pay more and stick with Yamaha

S Tanner please do. Buy a Yamaha. BRPs supposed tech completely rebuilt my motor half ass with reused headbolts, gaskets, damaged flywheel and rusty piston rings. I complained straight to corporate and they refused to make it right so I pulled the motor and rebuilt it myself. I figure quicker than a lemon lawsuit and cheaper than paying a lawyer too. Rebuild cost me 3k. Never will buy a BRP again!

Really hoped that there would be better coloring 😒 sad, cus i really saved my 2019 purtchase hoping for 2020. No one whats to ride Ugly. (Spark Trixx, Jalapeno-Pear works. Maby GTI 90/130. All other model's colors just dont add up)

LOL Jeff, all about those standups!! SeaDoo never put out a truly dedicated stand up. That 3D model they had in the late 90s could be ridden standing up, but really was an XP hull. I don't see them ever entering that market segment...not enough people want them. For those wondering, most standups have gone the way of specialty manufacturers like Bullett and Krash

@@Pwcmuscle yes and rickter but kawi and yamaha still make production ones. There is also the gp1 adtermarket hull you can get as well. I saw a 3d the other day getting work done lol. Thats a barge with a handle pole lol. Its a jack of all trades and master of none! Haha
