The toilet is a bummer and I agree that it's not installed correctly. I think most of the loose and lost screws are a result of the dealer failing to put the boat back together correctly when they installed the electronics package. Maybe you can use rubber screw tip covers over the sharp screws in the anchor locker? Love the look, feel, and performance of that boat. It's a much higher quality boat than it's rated among its peers because most of them are pure anglers. This is a mixed-use configuration and checks lots of boxes the Regulators and Contenders do not. It's a lot of boat for the price and a beast on the water in choppy seas. The hull comes with a lifetime warranty and the Yamaha engines run great too. Ant the Prop was installed by your Dealer at delivery, so they probably should have replaced it for you. Great boat, crappy delivery team.

If you think that those are some serious problems you have not been in the boating world. You bought the boat with a lot of those problems and you can be rest assured you will continue to have shake down problems and glitches along the way. Sea fox is a lot cheaper then its competitors and in the boating world you get what you pay for. Often boats that are shown at boat shows are quickly assembled and have not been tested. You have to be self sufficient and totally capable of picking out problems before they happen to be a boater. I know its a new boat but most of the problems you have can be fixed real quick. It would probably take you longer to clean the boat then it would to fix most of them. I suggest you bring it back to the dealer with a list and have them test drive and function test it again.

My sea fox was bought brand new. And I had to take her back to dealer to fix stuff that just wasn’t done at factory. They have straight up clowns working there. I’d pay the extra 20-30k and buy sea hunt for the same hull. Take it from a guy that’s been through it.

I have a 2018 266 also and the boats do lack the attention to detail. I changed the 90's on the deck drains, changed out all the cheap rod holders and added 10 more, fixed the screw problems. Some don't have enough insulation around fish boxes. Now it's a better boat. I have a rust problem also it's because they either did not put 5200 or a gasket behind it. That will fix the problem. But with that said for the $ it's a fine boat. Contender as well as other more expensive boats have many problems also. I've learned a new boat will always have problems that need working out

When I buy something new, I expect that everything is in working condition. If I buy something previously used, that's a different story. I don't quite understand why I should have to check over a boat that is supposed to be BRAND new. I don't expect to have problems a week after purchasing it. Thanks.

Hey man what’s up great video... we just bought the 2020 commander 268 it’s not a bit of a different layout but overall probably the same. I’ll be checking those things as soon as they deliver the boat cause that’s just unacceptable the toilet is for sure NOT supposed to be that way, and the screws should of had some 5200 it even helps with the rattling. As far as the drive is it any good? Would be good if you can post a video.

I get what you are saying. But on a 100+ K boat you would expect those things to be correct. If they can’t seem to get the little things right (the most important in my opinion) then what else could be wrong that you can’t see. I would be worried about being stranded on the water (which you would have been if you opted for the single engine and lost your prop) or worse a boat fire etc. I am just saying the things you showed are very concerning to me.

The disconnected water pump hose in the bilge and the loose anchor line attachment are very serious safety defects from the factory. I experienced a swamped center console boat from a disconnected hose inside the hull; luckily floatation prevented sinking. Also, with the fire extinguisher installed, it’s going to be hard to see through the windshield. Given the defect examples, better have that fire extinguisher handy in case the fuel system was installed like the other fittings.

I don't understand you bought 3 boats all Sea Foxes from the same dealer you would think that he or she would treat you better maybe you should find a new dealer and let people know to stay away from that dealer cause all that should have beem fixed at the dealership

the toilet is out of alignment! LOL. Sorry to laugh, but who put this boat together?! I'm a big fan of these for the value, but it looks like the dealer didn't prep the boat very well. Each prop should have had a retainer clip, and I'm guessing that one didn't. Disappointing to see the stainless rust so quickly too. You made a good point with the drainage, how did the drainage on this compare to your 246? I"m really interested in the new 248 commander.

The purpose of the video was to warn people that when they buy Sea Fox they may have some problems as described in the video. But it doesn't mean that your boat will have the same problems that mine had. If you like Sea Fox buy it because you may not have any problems. The Sea Fox quality control I think is very poor. Ok now write on paper the problems I had on my boat and before you sign for your new boat inspect everything and don't be afraid to talk if you notice something that is not right. If you buy the new boat, good luck.

Was the boat NEW when you bought it? If the boat had 30 hours on it when you bought it, it was BOT new. I would have gone through EVERYTHING before buying it and had the dealer fix them BEFORE signing anything. Sounds like your dealer sucks. I’m sorry for your troubles. Food news is, it can all be fixed!

I was only able to look through everything in the boat after all of that. However, the boat is great. The purpose of the video was just to inform everyone you have to be very careful when buying a new boat. Make sure you inspect EVERYTHING. At least whoever sees this video will have some knowledge going to the dealership about what to expect.

The 200's deliver little more than the 150's, I have the same boat with 150's. The screws need to be fixed and the water pump hoses secured.

Damn, that boat is junk. Also, you should not have paid for that prop. I was looking at these boats all morning and trying to make a decision. After this, decision made. Nothing worst than poor quality topped off with even worst customer service. Come on now, three new boat purchases and you don’t see the value in your return customers?

"I love the boat, I hate the boat. This boat is horrible, but I love it and its great". You need to make up your mind!! I just bought a 2019 266 Commander. I'm expecting some issues, that's normal....I didn't buy a Grady White so I expect a few things (like screws getting loose and hose clamps failing)...nothing I'm seeing in your video I would call abnormal. If you expected a Grady White, you should have bought one....would have run you about $40K more, but then you wouldn't have these issues.

And oh, it might help if you buy the correct size fire extinguisher. The model you bought is not the correct one, which seems fairly obvious.

I don't agree with all your comments. First you state the garmin gps was installed with screws through the ttop but then you say you bought those on eBay well who installed it. Second the screw was loose yes but not a safety issue more like quality controls. Third the pump is not Sea fox it's the plastic fitting that the motor comes with its crap. I've owned two Sea fox a used 07 199cc and now a new 2013 199 commander I've never had an issue with quality or workmanship. Compared to other boats Sea fox is up there with quality and quantity for the money. I'm sorry you feel that way but you should also blame the dealer that sold you the boat for not properly doing a walk through and inspection prior to you picking it up.
