SEA does not have major warehouses like AMZN as it sells directly through retailers so does not need to invest major funds in capital expenditures every quarter in own inventory / warehouses

I believe SEA is on the way up. But it probably will be a bumpy ride. Of course there is a risk, mainly through competitors and it is to early to tell, if they can grow all three fields of businesses. But I think it is a mistake, to wait untiil the moats of SEA's businesses are clearly recognizable, because by then the stock will have soared. I could be wrong, of course. But I like the risk/reward profile of SEA very much!

I've held a small amount of SE since the start of the year and I was up 80% before the recent correction. I have no problem holding this small amount of SE for a decade or two.

Reached 100% yesterday, sold out 50% to invest in a new company. Now the stock can do what ever it want

I'm not sure why investors are so worried about Sea's E-Commerce and Digital Financial Services businesses. These are industries that are large enough to accommodate multiple big companies. I think investors should be more worried about the Digital Entertainment business. Free Fire is currently the key profit driver of the company, but no one knows how long this will last. A popular game can die quickly within a couple of years.

Me too, for over 6-figures. It’s been a thorn for sure, but selling some every $10 increase. Take your medicine and move on. Once I realized SE will never ever get back to $300, I was mentally free to reverse DCA at a loss.
