Mate, that’s pretty rough to get strong armed by a bigger boat. A friend and I beat the Ruth Ashen Lord yesterday. Just as we finished some mook rocked up blew our ship up. Luckily they were such a noob they didn’t bother pilfering our hard earned loot.

Finally, after an insanely long time of fighting, we did it. We had beaten the Ashen Lord. There was so much loot! Me and my crewmate imagined how much we would make from it. But then we heard cannon fire. A GALLEON FULL OF TRYHARDS DEMOLISHED US AND TOOK OUR HARD EARNED LOOT. It was painful.

Roblox Trains And More nah that pretty much sums up the whole ashen lord experience really, spend time marveling at the event, only to forget PvP is eternal and get bodied while distracted. This update brought the prime time for big steals for big rewards, only to rival FOTD

@@dansmit9079 happened with us yesterday. We were almost in the last stage of ashen lords and we had parked our sloop at a distance and another sloop boarded us trying to destroy our ship. We got back and gunned them so hard that they were out of resources and they decided to flee. We just spent the next hour chasing them around. Fun fact is that those dudes were Athena lvl 3 and still couldn't handle pvp

Happened to me as well. Fighting Captain Grimm and three quarters through the fight some filthy toxic galleon (I was in a brig with two other guys) come, sinks our ship and we respawn on the other side of the fricking world. We get halfway there and the event disappears. Before we sank one crewmate sank their ship. So they had to rowboat away. Then I had to come off.

@@hmstopmotionz depends on crew size. If u r a 2 man crew will take 40mins depending on how often u die while doing it. A 4 man crew will take prolly 20mins

TL;DR: It's called Sea of THIEVES for a reason. If you don't wanna get sunk, only take the Ashen Winds skull. Don't hate the people who steal it, hate the event instead. It's seriously a ridiculously long event that gives you garbage loot. My advice: Take the Ashen Winds skull and leave everything else. The rest can easily be achieved through Devil's Roar. voyages. The skull can only be obtained through the event, and taking that alone will give you more time to sail away.

This is why the Ashen Lords event is possibly the worst one. Players spend so much time doing it, and other players have all the time in the world to get ready to steal it. What's worse is the loot is absolutely garbage, especially considering how long the event takes to do. This is why I only didn't grind out the sails that came with it. Sure, the sails look cool, but doing the event repeatedly and getting garbage loot that's probably gonna get stolen anyways? Yeah, no thanks. Now, I'm not someone who usually complains about PvP. The game's called Sea of THIEVES for a reason. I'm just complaining about this particular event.

@@darckap2785 you have reason but there is a tip if you shoot with cannons the ashen lords and your crew distract him in 15 minutes you will have that precious skull in your hands. (With a lot of cannonballs of course) i do that 2 times with my crewmate and its possible. but we don't like the pve.
