LOL! It does give you a boost, unless you are not a captain of your own ship, which is a shame. I did all that work for nothing. It did give me a good amount of gold, but was not able to raise the level to 5, only got to 4 before I was turning in. Already sold my gold and was going to give the doll to one the ghost girl. Then I was being chased by a galleon, which had an swoop ally. I ran past the stop I wanted to make, to head to a port. Then shot myself out of a canon to lower my flag, as my ship went on. They stopped chasing me after that. Then I sold my doll and got to a port, to drop off all my supplies. Then just logged off. Great guide by the way. I did not know where the other flags were. I always picked gold hoarder, but not enough gold to sell. There seemed to be more resource crates and skulls. Also, glad for the extra info for special level 5 maps and such.

Hi Max, yeah if you lose your emissary flag you can re-raise it at the outpost but it will start back at grade 1 again.

what does the emissary value mean? it pops up when turning in loot but it doesn't correspond to the value of the flag and the number doesn't seem to relate to anything.

Emissary value is just a score and puts you on a leaderboard. If you finish in the top % of players for a specific emissary in a month you can unlock some ship cosmetics. These reset every month and I think you can check your score in the reputation menus 👍🏻

When you log out your ship sinks so it will lose its grade and the flag will float for a while so someone can pick it up before it sinks and de-spawns. You get a little bit of rep and reward for lowering your flag so best to do that when you’re selling up and about to log out 👍🏻

No buffs. Probably just a tight crew. Reapers tend to be the more experienced players! Keep at it!

I believe it should be available to buy even after rank 20 at each vendor. If it isn’t then that might be a bug. Are you rank 20 a specific emissary or rank 20 in the season? It needs to be above 15 for the specific trade company rather than season progress.

So you’ll get the below ranges depending on the grade and then you’ll get the % bonus based on what your reapers grade is. Grade 1 - 1600-2400 Grade 2 - 3500-4900 Grade 3 - 5500-6500 Grade 4 - 7600-8500 Grade 5 - 9500-10500

Hey Deniz, unfortunately not. Your grade only increases if you touch and bring loot on board while the flag is raised. If you’ve already touched loot etc then raise the flag you won’t get any additional bonus or increase in grade on loot that’s already yours. There are commendations for selling X loot while representing an emissary so progress would still be counted towards those but no bonus gold or rep.

Your crew have to equip it by voting on the specific emissary tables. The table/emissary that has the most votes is then equipped to the ship

You buy the flat from the vendor right next to the table where you want to vote to raise. You have to be rank 15 for the specific faction before you can buy the flag and it costs 20k gold. 👍🏻

Yep. Any emissary flag can be stolen by any enemy ship (with or without a flag up) and then sell the stolen flag at the reapers hideout. A ship with the reapers emissary up will get lots of bonus gold and rep when selling a flag and progress towards commendations too

Hey, you have to be pirate legend and then go to the pirate legend hideout and obtain the flag. You can then raise it from the athenas fortune table within the tavern.

Hey Richter, yes you get a bonus for anything you turn in to the trading company you are representing as long as you’re above grade 1 a bonus will be applied!

Hey w0lf, once you’ve bought it you have it forever so you can raise and lower at as many times as you want. If your ship sinks you will lose the emissary status but you can simply go to an outpost and re-raise it by voting on the tables. You only have to pay to acquire it the once.
