It's also not called sea of murderers, so the title is a bit ill-fitting. The stealing I can handle, it's the wanton sinking of ships I don't like. Being a dick in any video game is rude, and uncalled for unless they start the fight. The whole point of the game is to be a pirate, not a petty jerk who treats everyone they meet like shit, regardless of whether they are a threat or not. I get that there are jerks in every game, but I have met more assholes in this one game than my last 5 years of gaming combined. I love the gameplay, but I literally had a panic attack when three brigs and a sloop started chasing me for 2 hours yesterday. I had only one chest; a fucking barnacled seafarer chest. Obviously, they didn't know that, but the fact that they boarded me, stole it, and laughed and called me names was downright depressing. I can't even fully reach pirate legend, because the only merchant alliance person I can actually access is in the devil's roar. ( my internet sucks and the house likes to absorb most of the signal. It's old.) They need to make the trade company stuff part of the actual download, so that those with bad internet can still get promotions and emissary item upgrades.
