Dit is weer een mooi product van Sea Ray ook nog een mooie cabin erbij, had ik niet verwacht. Het Skyhook digitale anker is inderdaad een prachtig en functioneel accessoire. Leuke vid. weer. Dank.

Dank voor de reactie, leuk. En ja, "skyhook" is echt een geweldig onderdeel van het joystick systeem van Mercruiser en Mercury. Inmiddels passen we het ook vaak toe op de Axopar 37, en 28. Ook bij de grotere modellen van Boston Whaler wordt het gebruikt. Ik hoop dat er ook een keer een hybride of elektrische aandrijving komt, die dan ook met hetzelfde joystick systeem te bedienen is. Maar dat zal denk ik nog wel even duren....

Very comprehensive video as this boat had caught my attention. Would be interesting to have a comparison with the OB version as personally from experience I am a bit biased towards that engine solution. Given that the SLX 400 has the tilting swim platform I believe there is no compromise with transom space occupied by the engines.

Thank you for your compliment. I'm afraid we won't have the opportunity to do a comparison with the outboard version as we sell Sea Ray in The Netherlands primarily and the SLX 400 is a truly special boat at our end. Outboard propulsion is still less, but increasingly, popular in Europe. I don't know of any Sea Ray SLX 400 in Europe with Outboards which we could use. Maybe at a later stage during a dealer event. Please keep following our channel, then you'll be informed when we did get the opportunity.

Ik ben wel benieuwd of ze deze boot ook leveren met diesel motoren want die 8.2L motoren zullen wel wat lusten denk ik. Aan de andere kant als er zoveel wordt uitgegeven aan een boot is benzine het laatste waar je je druk om moet maken

Jazeker Tijmen, dat kan inderdaad. Het verbruik is bij dieselmotoren is iets lager, en diesel is iets goedkoper. Maar in aanschaf is het aanmerkelijk duurder, waarmee het ook op de lange termijn niet goedkoper is. Maar sommige mensen kiezen voor dieselmotoren vanwege het betere koppel, of omdat in bepaalde gebieden benzine iets lastiger te krijgen is.

I love Sea Ray and love your channel um what is the shallowest area you can get in with the Sea Ray 400

Hi there, thank you for your compliment, great that you're a fan of Sea Ray boats. The draft of the Sea Ray SLX 400 with the sterndrives down is 122 cm, so I'd say you need at least 150 cm. Then again, if you really know what you're doing, you could tilt up the sterndrives for a short while, and get into less deep water. Some people also take their boats up to a beach but if you do that, you need to make sure there really are no rocks, that there aren't any boats passing by making waves, and that there's nothing under water that can damage the boat.

@@larafarmsiowa4820 yes, I certainly do, depending on the type of beach and the conditions of course. That having said, I would not recommend someone without proper experience doing this. And if you do, take it slow, take your time, ask people to assist, and enjoy!

@@larafarmsiowa4820 The SLX's from Sea Ray have always been my favorite. We sell the 250 mostly, and quite a few of them, as they are, for the European market, produced in Poland, making it easier for us. We have sold a few 280's, and a few 350's, but no 310 yet unfortunately. But I love that boat, it is truly fantastic. So enjoy!
