not 100% so take my word as just someone whose seen a couple of the videos and played the game myself ... they aren't actually using a polearm per-say, its two controlers with a mod that estimates where the stick should be given where the hands are (this part def takes practice, so not discounting the player at all, still talanted as fuck) but also based on what someone else said im assuming they have the ability to basicly switch the left and right hands at the push of a button which is how they do the rapid spins ... but take all that from some 3rd party, im not them, not do i watch their streams so i don't know first or even second hand really

Button pressing is part of it, most of it is full body tracking and reflexes, this also shows they're skilled with a staff do to how easially they're able to wield it when it's going at such high speeds
