We’re at the forefront of something new at Forest Green Rovers.
We’re bringing together football and environmental consciousness in a way no other football club in the world is doing right now. And it’s working.
FIFA recently described us as the greenest football club in the world. We’re the first and only vegan football club in the world. And we’re the only club on the planet to have Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) accreditation, the gold standard of environmental management. This allows us to measure our impact on the environment and target the reduction of our carbon emissions.
We see a great opportunity to create a truly sustainable football club - somewhere we can demonstrate sustainable thinking and technology to a new and passionate audience.

This club deserves such a big following. They’re making the world and the footballing world a better place. This may be a stretch and a half, but maybe you guys could partner with MrBeast to hold an event that could involve any of the good things either of you do for our world?

Good job... You should see the amount of flotsam and jetsam that washes up in the Avon estuary up the road from Burnham. Most of it plastic. A few years ago there were a lot yellow plastic ducks washing up. I assume a container carrying them fell overboard somewhere in the Atlantic. Some of the flotsam is welcome. I've got a lovely driftwood bench on my porch. And occasionally a wave smoothed whole coconut washes up. Pretty amazing that they fall off a tree in the Carribbean, travel right across the Atlantic Ocean with the trade winds, then wash up here thousands of miles away... That's some journey for a seed.

wasn't there a whole container of them lost at sea years ago but scientists have learned quite a bit about ocean currents by where they have eventually washed up, still not a good thing but at least some good came from it
