Great video! The ship reminds a lot of the royal class Princess ships - design is very similar but Seabourn is more intimate and luxurious.

@@VictorandMJ thank you. I have a mini 3 pro, and want to take it into Alaska on the Seabourn odyssey, did you need any special permission or did/were you able to carry it on and off the ship into ports with no problems from the crew?

I was using the same Mini 3 pro, which is under 250 grams, which most of the time doesn't require permits. I did not encounter any issues with the crew. Their policy is to not fly the drone from the moving vessel. So be aware of that.

Really nice video guys. You two hit a home run with this one. The ship is amazing! I never hear of Seabourn Cruises before. One question....the ship looks very empty compared to other cruise ships I have seen before. Is this always the case with Sebourn Cruises?

Hello Kermic! 👋 Great day to you! Just back from another trip and read this! Thank you! It's an amazing cruise ship. The maximum capacity of this one is 600 guests. When we were there it was about 70 % occupancy. The ship is designed very well that it never felt crowded. Certainly a different experience from other big cruiselines. 😊👋

No, you don't have to. All the restaurants are included on Seabourn. But you need to book your reservation ahead of time. Preferably on the embarkation day.

Hello Pete!👋 It really depends on what your preferences are. Most $3,000 are good enough to travel with. If budget is more of a priority, then a bigger ship may be the better option. However, this specific cruise is a more intimate and luxurious experience. The only thing we paid extra for are the excursions. It's a smaller ship, so getting on and off is easy. Dining and drinking experience was a delight itself. Our room, the facilities, and customer service were also impeccable. So it's definitely worth it, just a question of which type of cruise ship would be right for you. Hope this helps! 🙏💕

Several of the clips in this excellent video were taken from drones, but Seabourn tells me drones are prohibited onboard. How did you get permission to bring one aboard?

Thank you! Seabourn prohibit to bring it on board so people don't fly it from the vessel for safety and privacy reasons. However, we never had any issue bringing it on board, and we always fly it from the land when we are in the ports, as well we keep in mind the safety and privacy so we don't fly to near the vessel.

nice but not as nice as Regent-and they still nickel and dime you for drinks, tips, excursions, etc. The cabin, bath, balcony are smaller, not as luxurious and probably doesn't offer the same fine dining and options as Regent and most likely havve extra charges for premium dining and wine.

Ultra luxury cruise price is inclusive of all the free drinks on board and free shore excursion. For someone who does not drink anything alcoholic and prefer self exploring rather then the organised shore tour this type of ultra luxury is unattractive as he pays for some services which he will not use, tantamount to a waste of money.

It surely was worth it, until they changed their champagne to cheap crap for $11.99 per bottle from Lidl- absolutely disgusting, but despite that, is a great cruise line and I have done many many cruisers with them. I don’t drink spirts or cocktails so I am probably a minority with my opinion

Hi Michele! Interesting to know. We would not know what the prior champagne was since it was our first time. What was it before? It did not really take away from our experience because we do not drink too much champagne or alcohol either to be affected. However we did love our experience overall! It is a great cruise line. :)

Hi Michelle! 👋 We went on another Seabourn Cruise and looked up their champagne of choice out of curiosity. They might be trying different brands as we had Champagne Montaudon Brut. We are not experts, but it was balanced and was enjoyable for us during the sail away event. 💕

Do waste you money on Oceania unless you really like bad seasick. Production show only consists of 4 people, music only play 45 minutes per day. All their money is spent on mailing advertising, 2 or 3 books per day in my mail box. Lobster is dry, tough with frozen taste. Specialty restaurants are not that good at all. Service is OK. Free wines is bad, $2.580 per bottle. I been to 250 cruises, this is the worst experience. Lots of adverting, most are paid KZbinR with free cruises, money, etc. and highly bias.. Do not believe them. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS WORTHLESS CRUISE. Small ship, Regent is the best, Vikings is second.

However based on ours, we loved the cruise, loved the ship and the whole entire experience. This was our first luxury cruise, and no we did not have 250 cruises like you did. Who said they were a 6 star cruise line? Think you will find they gave that to themselves. No 6 star hotels in US so doubt any 5 star ships, in fact the bible for finding luxury ship levels is through Douglas Ward' Berlitz Cruising and Cruise ships accepted as the bible for giving stars and in fact this ship is rated 4 stars plus Europa and Europa 2 belonging to Hapag Loyd are the only 2 x 5 star ships in the world being 5 stars plus. Nothing against this ship it is marvellous but the line gives themselves 6 stars.

Hello Len! 6 star cruise or ultra luxury cruise is not a standard star rating system, but an unwritten standard. Based on many articles and reports, Seabourn is one of the few cruise lines called this due to it being a true all inclusive and the most luxurious experience you can have on sea. I a sure the ship is ;usurious. Bt what makes to that way as I said not a single 6 star hotel in US. It can only be European or Asian staff wh omake it luxurious. Same with aircraft who I their right modes would fly with a other line other than a Asian one? They know hw to handle their passengers.

Good observation @random_observer777! We both didn't have any stomach issues after that breakfast. Most likely it was water trapped on the top of the egg while it was removed from the pot.😊
