SEABREAM fishing NINJA Style | Light Rock Fishing SARGUS | Belly Boat

A combination of two great things - Belly Boat Fishing and Light Rock Fishing (LRF)!
I went out with my LRF and Spinning equipment to explore the nearby waters casting silicons, minnows and small jigs. It turned out that the breams where on fire striking like hell as well as a crazy run on my Snipe S76X on my way back to the beach. The fish turned out to be the most poisoning fish here in the Mediterranean Sea.

Hahaha yes it's a proper workout! Honestly I think you have no advantage of a sonar for example when light rock fishing bug an engine would be great! With wind and currents you have to work your way home cm by cm... 😅

Hey, thanks man! 🤙 Actually no, but I guess there are no specific regulations. It's technically not a boat because you don't have any engine. At least that's the view in Germany. But I will see if I can find something. Good point! 👍

Nice video and approach to the fishes but a simple kayak can beat a belly boat in every aspect, especially at sea.

Hi Yannis, thank man but about beating I totally disagree especially when you say simple kayak. First a belly boat is much more silence compared to a kayak when having some even small waves. Reason is the Kayak is a hard body construction so noise increases when waves hit the structure. Second in a belly boat you have your hands free for manoeuvring while fishing. Third it's extremely stable. I could go on... ...think about transportation. I even took my Belly Boat on my back when cycling to the river. 😂 Price... Temperature when summer fishing... oh man it's a lot! A Kayak has many good advantages the biggest compared with a belly boat is probably the speed but it didn't beat the belly boat and a cheep one - never! Tight lines Max

Ok thx. About the 1st I think it is about the condition of the sea. There is also "slapping" on inflatables from the waves, but if you insist there are also inflatable kayaks (I used one in the past for fishing, you can pack it in a big super market bag), that solves also the transportation issue (me personally now I prefer the loading unloading from the car of the hard kayak than the inflation - deflation issue). About the fishing you can also have your hands free (not only for pedals) there are techniques for it. About the stability and safety, with a belly if you roll over you are done and with wind gusts in sea can drag you away in danger and suddenly . On the other side with a kayak you have many more options with weather changes. Concluding a belly it is most usable and safe in close waters like a lake, but for sea a kayak is 1st choice. @@Yannis123S thanks for your detailed reply. I fish with a belly boat for numerous reasons I mentioned before. A kayak for the sea would be big, stable, fast and necessarily expensive - transportation, storage problems included that's why I didn't get one but also it's a completely different boat. Usually kayak anglers go further out fish with sonars and fish often also vertical - all totally different technique compared to what I do from my belly boat. Of course a belly boat has a lot of limitations and must be sailed with a lot of care and responsibilities but is has also some cool advantages imo. One thing I'm really interested what are the techniques you do to manoeuvre when fishing with a kayak without foot paddle's? Drift sack, anchor - both passive methods. From my side the is no Kayak vs. Belly question I just show what opportunities a belly boat has. Ah I nearly forgot it with a belly boat you can't tip over, you can just fall out of the seat when leaning to much in front. 😅 There is a lot of new stuff coming including a new belly boat and some hot tunings - wait for it. 😉 Tight lines Max

Hi bro, it's an amazing tool to fish from a belly boat. The one I have here is not recommended. It's an so called codura belly boat. I can recommend you only a PVC Belly. The one I use for about a year is the 12BB Jumbo S it's very good strong and the most important you can upgrade it to your desire. There is more Float Tube fishing about to come with my new belly.
