Where I'm at in Ohio a school day Is about 7 hours so not much different but 8 does seem a little long I guess, it just depends on how much free time they would get.

I use to be in school for seven and a half hrs a day 5 days a week so I would know what those kids will be going through with 8hrs in school it is a long hard day but it soon goes by

I wish the guides didn't continue the myth that Jurassic Park was filmed there. Everything I've ever heard/read says that while the Dominican Republic was scouted as a filming location, they in fact never shot a single scene there. :/ Bummer! It's still a beautiful place no matter what & I can't wait to be there in December! :D
