Just installed my Garmin Echomap on my 2022 GTX300 Your video was perfect . Ordered a bracket from a guy in NZ for my transducer. Planning a ride across the Manitou Straits to North Manitou Island for a 3 night camping adventure. Look me up when your in town !

I ordered the exact bracket! Waiting to get it in to install the transducer but I already installed the garmin unit. Where’d you run the transducer cable through?

Nice Video! I recently installed the Garmin Echomap GPS 74sv on my 2020 GTX230 - fit like a glove and all touchscreen! You don't need the extra wiring harness as you tap into the stereo power lines -

@@s.k7770 you lose the mirror you have to get the FishPro kit - I never use my mirrors they are too small/low and moving at 65mph you wanna look around ;)

Installed touch-screen Garmin Echomap UHD 74sv. Recommend using a ACC harness because it makes the installation much easier.

Just did this an hour ago with the ACC harness and it was super easy. Waiting to get a bracket in the mail so I can mount the transducer to the transom then it’ll be all complete but I was surprised how easy it was. In total unscrewed 4 screws

Another newbie here don't have one yet but very interested in the adventure touring aspect of pwcs.. Curious why choose the 300, looks like you are fishing why not get the fishpro or similar?

I couldn’t catch a fish in a trout farm mate 😂. I chose the 300 for the features and extra power if I want to go faster. I can always go slower on GTX300 ….

A friendly question. I am still learning. Why you are not using the navigation feature included in your main screen panel? Just to know your thoughts on it. Perhaps you need a bigger screen or you are creating a redundant system increasing safety.

The main screen on the Seadoo ?? That app for that screen doesn’t offer any MARINE navigation. IE. channel markers etc .

I think the bracket only suits 2018 onwards. The st3 hulls

How in the #!Q%#!$ did you get the GPS mount cover off? Struggling with that on an install today. What's the trick?! Do you just pry it off? I can't tell from any internet resource how it's secured/removed. Thanks for the vid.

The transducer can be siliconed to the inside of the hull . We didn’t need the transducer.

All the parts were sourced from the local Seadoo dealer. The Garmin unit came from our local boat dealer. BCF.

I have 2021 GTX 300 and the included cover still fits. There’s a zipper that expands the cover in that area if you have the unit installed.
