I had dinner there once with my ex boyfriend. We had a very tall shelf with hot and cold seafood and the cold seafood was served in these beautiful shells. I told him that I liked the shells, and he surprisingly asked the waiter if I could have the shell that I liked and she said yes. I was just thinking about it, but sadly, I don't have the shell anymore. Next time I am going to bring myself to this restaurant and have the dishes I saw in this video!

It's not that hard when you do it In c cooking order" cooking is all timing. Cook first what takes longest and start the rest accordingly so it all times out. Easy really. Did it for years
@overl0ad_x7622 жыл бұрын
@@ryancoleman1 and the idea that the dishes they were serving were really just several items stacked onto one plate instead of unique elements that work together to form a single coherent dish (like the high end restaurants he went to in Denmark) likely takes away a lot of the effort that goes into it.

@@overl0ad_x762 yea the way it's cooked and served, everything probably tastes exactly the same.

Kitchen layout is similar to central galley on long boat. Other than batch cooking, seafood orders require fast prep to keep it fresh.
They have refrigerated drawers...Have you ever been to Nepal or Tibet?

Like your videos, this restaurant however is not that good, some fish looked undercooked (think it was the salmon), that tail wasn't even touching the surface to be cooked properly 1:13

And there we have exactly why Amsterdam is such a civilized place: White men and Black men working together in the service of great food for their customers. What's the big problem? Why can't we have this everywhere?
