There is a sea horse farm on Hawaii. They raise sea horses for aquariums and for private buyers. Their goal is to put an end to the capturing of wild caught sea horses for these purposes. Apparently, wild seahorses don't live long in captivity. They have figured it out and their sea horses can live a long time. They also vet all potential buyers to make certain they are able to care for them. It is truly amazing what they have done. Could make a great episode...

"Seahorses, few people have ever seen one in person"???? I guess i was lucky because i use to see so many on my childhood on the beach, sometimes catch 1 or 2 to release them later. I thought they were common on beaches and rocky areas, sometimes seeing groups of 5-6. guess "few" refers to people and scuba divers who dont live on the coast or the apropiated climate
