Ohh...Your Birds are soo beautiful...Thank you for sharing them with us...I used to be in Oregon before, cold, cloudy, windy & snowy area, never seen single bird there. You are so lucky to have beautiful birds arounds you...Please offer them warm housing too...

Kudos to you. I spent this winter saving a single Hummingbird and others from freezing, starving and anything else I could think of. Right down to putting up protective barriers for any of Gods' creatures. BOY, was I busy :):)

Beautiful! And, two years ago. I haven't seen any videos from you lately. Eastern bluebirds are a favorite of mine. Their sounds are quiet, but distinct and pleasant.

Your videos are really amazing, the way you selected the background, the lighting on the birds and the staging area behind the feeding area. I'm glad I subscribed.

Beautiful video. I loved the Bluebirds. I wonder when they started arriving at your feeders, David. I have never seen Bluebirds come to your feeders before and it is such a treat. I hope the new Year is being kind to you. With love, as always. Liz. xoxo
@seahue9 жыл бұрын
Thank you Liz;) Always happy to hear from you:) I always had sightings of one or two bluebirds in the winter time...usually after a snow...They never visited my feeder though..Then...when I started putting out meal worms... they visited my feeder...Every year,since then, more and more appear...this winter I am amazed at how many showed up! They appear at the feeder seconds after I put the meal worms out! They must have one watching my window at all times...who then alerts the whole gang:)

seahue Yes, mealworms will do it, David, but I have never been lucky enough to attract either Bluebirds of the Pileated Woodpecker to my property and even though I live right next to the I-44 in Saint Louis, I have a woods. next to my house that is perfect for a pair of breeding Pileated Woodpeckers and an open council park next to that which is ideal for Bluebird nesting without fear of snakes getting into the nests. I have tried, but never been successful.

Where are you that you have Eastern BB in January ? Not the exact location but just the region. I don't know if we have White Crowned Sparrows through the whole winter. I notice them in March. That looks like a banquet for all of them !! It is very peaceful watching birds. 👍👍

Lorena Bonita it looks like it . We used to email him lots and were working on a project half finished. We’ve asked anyone that knows anything to let us all know. His friend 47 oranges shut her channel down, they were best friends. Now they are both gone. We know they were talking about depression in a video . Come see our channel you will see the stuff Seahue liked so much. He loved Roxy 🐱the most . This summer will be 2 yrs he’s been gone. Hugs 🌹👽🐱🦁🐯🇨🇦

Do bluebirds travel in flocks during the winter? (UK)
@TopThrillDan5 жыл бұрын
Blue Birds are one of my favorites, I wish I could get this many to come to by backyard feeders. I'd rather see a flock of Blue Birds, than a flock of invasive house sparrows.

Have you tried recording the song of the mockingbird? If you play the recorded birdsong back to him, sometimes it's enough to scare the mockingbird away! :-)

I believe Heaven is on Earth. I have many reasons to believe that, and this video is one of them. 6:50 I wonder what they are talking about. Maybe: "This food is great, I am in paradise" :) 8:15 Is it some sort of finch? We don't have them in Sweden.
