Showing a standard Daewoo lathe with special clamps, tools and vacuum system from Mastor (Portugal). This machine was prepared for machining seals and is now sold.
Our system can virtually be used in any lathe configuration as the software is able to create gcode for several controllers brands and models.

When making polyurethane seals, is a cutting fluid or lubricant required? Or is the machining usually done without lubrication?

Generally, a small amount of coolant is recommended as it increases the tool life, although it also depends on the material being machined

Good job! What kind of material is that? Polyurethane? We are now using Max H-Pur to make seals in various configurations and it looks great!

urgh. its about 1 minute and i still cant find the RPM you are running the RED RUBBER at......

It is not rubber, it is polyurethane. We use CSS spindle mode, so that RPM is not constant, but quality is!

@@FastCNC so how do you account for gravitational effects on the diametres of the material? Lets say you machine something at 2" (5536 RPMS) then you maching something at 1" (18,836 RPMS) ........ explain further! the centrifugal forces will make the ID's and OD's expand!
