There are many kinds of vending machine in Japan. This video shows one your own seal vending machine. In Japan, contracts are stamped with a seal(we call it hanko) instead of being signed. I uploaded previous version of seal vending machine before which can't make English seal. But this machine has an English-Japanese(kanji) translation function!

It kind of occurred to me amidst the name process, where I remembered there was a name “seal” you could sign important documents with. Before I was wondering what it was about a fancy cigarette holder that made it a seal ^^”

Those stamps are important when it comes to delivered items. It is sort of like a signature to accept things, but in a faster way.

It's easier. Instead of people signing things by hand, all they have to do is use the hanko stamp. Although, that makes forgery MUCH easier as well.

Probably had to speak a language it's not native to and/or doesn't want to. English is one of the hardest languages to learn after all. I get bored learning french but love spanish, japanese or russian. Probably same thing.

@@WakoDoodle i just don't see how English is the hardest language to speak! I'm not saying this because i only speak English and can't pronounce any other language but because small countries with not known langauge is somehow still easier to pronounce than English thats very well known thats like basically everyehere.
@WakoDoodle
@WakoDoodle 5 жыл бұрын
@@OldHoboManKZbin "one of" the hardest languages, not the hardest. Generally how a sentence needs extra words to form like (and, the, a, is, whether) and how some same words are spelt the same but mean different things (like(similar to) and like (interested in). Then we have words saidthe same but spelt different like (hare and hair), particular grammer like they're; just the whole thing can be very confusing. Esecially when new words keep popping out. It's not impossible, just very confusing at partd.

They don't look quite like that nor do we buy them from machines but stateside we can buy rubber stampers with our names and addresses on them. You usually order them from those Vermont Country Store Catalogs or the like. Makes filling out those contest cards at conventions a breeze. I think they also carry ones much like the Japanese ones for those with special needs who can't write there names quite as easily and the stamp works in lieu of a signature.
