Nice video very useful for Presiding Officers. However, I suggest ECI to simply & come forward with One single document containing contents of PrO Diary, PrO Declaration, PrO’s Report, 16 points declaration-all in one naming Presiding Officers Report/Diary - in Open Envelope . Statutory Cover (Closed & sealed) should contain 17-A, B & C, Paper seal Accounts, Metal seal, Polling Agents’ Appointment Letters, etc. There may be a 3rd Cover (not sealed/ closed) containing all other materials. This shall make the process easier and duty of PrOs a bit comfortable .

Thank you. Sorry for late reply. I was busy whole day. As per instruction, The removed power pack (battery) of the VVPAT shall be deposited at the collection centre. Since these power packs will not be stored in strong room, and if no packet is supplied for packing, deposite the power pack (battery) of VVPAT as intructed by RO.

Unsealed cover means totally unsealed without gum Or with gum but without red seal

Unsealed covers need not be sealed with a metal seal. Better protect them with an alpin or staple pin. You can use gum. But sometimes they may be opened in the collection centre to ensure that all required envelopes are inside the packet. Thank you. Thank you for your minute observation. PrO Report IV is applicable for EVM/ VVPAT replacement during Mock Poll and Report V is applicable for replacement during actual poll. In any case Report IV @ V should be kept inside the same packet as that of Report I, II @ III. For such replacement, the concerned Sector Officer is also involved. So, the Sector Officer may be consulted for any deviation if there are any specific instructions from RO. Regards.

Duplicate copies, I mean carbon copies of Form 17C will be required. If the number of polling agents in the Polling Station is n, then the number of copies required is (n+ 2).
