BTW (in my opinion) the most efficient way of mining obsidian would be leaving the water flowing only for a block above the obsidian. It won't slow your pick because you're above the water, and it will transform the lava underneath the block you're mining in obsidian before the block burns.

MrArmokir yea i think sometimes it's subconscious thing nova does because he doesn't want to lose the water so he just picks it up before mining. When I was playing minecraft i did the same thing. I wish I had more people to play it with though. Recording the PC version is annoying, always had issues with fraps.

Thatguywithtoast no it doesnt matter, it takes like 20 seconds at most to claim a horse its really quick, i finally found one in my sp after not seeing any for like 10 years and i just road it a couple times, then put blocks around it and came back with a saddle and then rode back home, but ya Skylar Stein I do understand that they came from mo creatures and they suck at minecraft either way and james could have easily just looked it up it literally takes 1 min.

HOW TO TAME A HORSE: To tame a wild horse, approach it and right click on it with an empty hand. You will climb on top of it, and will likely be thrown off. After a few attempts, it will allow you to remain on it and will give off heart animations. At this point you can dismount it by pressing the sneak key and place a saddle on it, or you can place a saddle without using the sneak key at all by right-clicking on the horse with the saddle in hand. Horses can also be saddled by opening your inventory while mounted and moving the saddle to the appropriate slot in the horse's inventory. The chance of successful taming on the first try is almost 0%, yet it can be done. Taming on the first attempt is very rare. After the first attempt without taming the horse, the chances increase by about 5%, and usually one can then tame a horse after about 5-6 attempts. Taming can be sped up by feeding the horse any of the approved foods when you are standing next to it

To tame a horse you need to right click on them with an open hand. The horse will buck you off. Do this till the hearts come. You need a saddle - which are found in world spawned chests - to be able to ride and control the horse. Apples, wheat, golden carrots, sugar, bread, golden apples and hay bales can be used to heal the horses. Golden apples and golden carrots are used to breed them.

Nova you can tame the horse by sitting on it then press E until it shows the horses inventory . Then, you have the horse tamed. You don't need to use apples to tame a horse but using golden apples help tame the horses better than regular apples. Oh! And you can tell if you see hearts around the horse. Like so they can see!! In normal minecraft you can tame horses by just right clicking on it and trying to ride it. It'll kick you off a few times but eventually you will tame it and after that just put a saddle on it to ride it. (You know it's tamed why you get on the horse and it doesn't kick you off and you can see it's health bar) Btw, hold and release space at the right time to jump with the horse.

To tame a VANILLA MINECRAFT HORSE, you have you just right click it and ride it until it has hearts above it. Sometimes it will kick you off, but just get back on and try again. Then, you shift right click the horse and put a saddle on it to ride it... it has nothing to do with foods or any such... (some have said it helps, but when I've tried it just makes it harder to do.)

James probably found this out by now but if not you feed a horse as much as you want and try to ride it over and over with an empty hand until it is tame. Also you need to rename the name tag on an anvil and then you can use it on mobs by right clicking with the renamed name tag.
