Very interesting that the pattern is all one piece. Your hack is really flattering, I know what you mean about the neckline, don't need to feel like you choking. I remember when Tanja shared that top, didn't remember it was a seamwork pattern.

+SewNaturalDane Yeah it was a weird one lol. Tanja’s top was amazing, not sure I have that kind of patience lol. Thanks for watching hon!

Very nice woven tee Vivian! What is the fabric?

+Myra Lorraine Thanks hon. It’s a bubble crepe from Fabricdotcom. Really nice to work with. I made my Penny dress from it last year.

Hi Viv - I have a beginners question. Why did you choose to create a seam at the shoulder? Was it to change the fit or some other reason? You did a great job on your modifications- the top is a perfect fit and looks great on you

Hello Sue! Basically it's to do with fabric usage, it's more economical the other way I feel and that way I have a basic "block" to play around with for changing design elements eventually. Thanks so much, I appreciate you watching.

The sleeves are flattering. I wish the fabric was lighter so we could see the details. I wasn't able to find the Akita pattern so maybe a link would be good.
