Jon at 37 having a go with a 19-yo is perhaps the *least* worrying concept out of all age-differences we can imagine. Sean is 57 so perhaps he's imagining *himself* with a nineteen year old partner there. For that matter, Sean with someone Jon's age would be more troubling all told. That was a weird rave.

@@wrenclark4907 ???? I *realized* that Sean was "having a go" at Jon and that was the entire basis of my observation. Sean was implying the age difference was inappropriate for "the nineteen year old" and Jon. However, Jon is *now* only 37 so the difference was not that ridiculous and in fact kind of in the normal range for a middle age man taking a new girlfriend or second wife or whatever. Hardly the cringe-worthy thing Sean was implying in these days of much worse real life celebrity scandals with others who shall remain unnamed (although still very much privileged and *titled* and on the Civil List etc). Now, if it was someone Sean's age with a nineteen year old... See my point? +m fay It *is* an older clip so Jon's age would have been even less back then. Not exactly rich soil for trying to sow ridicule on another comedian. I really enjoy Sean's standup but he does have this personality IRL where he can't stand anybody else having the mic for any longer than a few beats so he's always interjecting. When it's a good witty remark then it's hilarious but he will butt in even when he's got nothing actually funny in that moment. He can't seem to *not* seize the spotlight away for its own sake. That's what I have noticed on his panel show appearances. He doesn't rest unless he's the main focus nearly constantly. He's a naturally talented witty comic so he shouldn't need to act so ...needy for attention. In fact Jon is a minor talent next to Sean Locke in the measure of things so this kind of thing is like Sean kicking down at the weaker boy on the Games field when they're meant to playing tennis. It's just a touch unseemly. All just my opinion of course.
