If he knocks out Merab he is the best bantamweight for me. I look at the people he’s beaten and who I think would beat him, I’d favor him against any 135 champ in history especially Cruz. For some people he’d have to beat Umar but Merab is much more impressive for legacy. I think if people knew the scoring criteria and rewatched the Yan fight they’d agree, that’s the best 3 round bantamweight fight of all time and he won, against one of the best skill for skill guys ever.

I just wanted to share my thoughts on the constant product placements during the podcast. It feels like every segment is interrupted by ads, and it really detracts from the conversation. While I understand that advertising is part of the business model, it’s frustrating to see the hosts and guests surrounded by products. It almost feels like the genuine discussions are secondary to the sales pitch, and that can be a turn-off for listeners. It would be great if they could find a more balanced approach-after all, authenticity is key!
