@@jaseallenson316exactly my thoughts. if he didn't get injured in his last fight, which he still won by UD, he would've probably had a title shot right now. despite winning through adversity with that injury, it just didn't look good and felt "unacceptable" by the fans and matchmakers. me personally, i think you have to honor his work still. he put on a masterclass vs chito, who just got obliterated by o'malley. the only thing that saved chito tonight was his tough brick chin. i would rather see corey vs o'malley next. sean is trying to make the most money asap and then bounce and dabble in boxing. that's clearly his trajectory, the "conor" route. whether we like it or not, each fighter approaches the fight game differently.

Yeah, anyone who wasnt a biased hater knew that was the case from the jump. We all tried telling people, omalley was totally controlling the distance and whatnot before the freak injury. And, the cory vs chito fight was a good tell of how this fight would go. Chito is just way to slow for the really good strikers in his weight class, but he does the best with his gifts(endurance, tougness and durability). And the way sean walked out of that ring and various other fights, shows his gift isnt durability. Mos def passed the cardio test, which was dope to see.

I didn't watch this fight, just the highlights. But I've watched Sean fight several times. Sean is legitimately beat up right now. The scorecards are one thing, but it's a fight. I think he's showing genuine respect to his opponent and the sport by acknowledging that this was a tough one.
