Many Jamaicans will tell you that Sean Paul is not popular in Jamaica he is recognized International and in the latin industry cause he is light skin. His music in the in 90s early 2000s was phenomenal but fell off. His music them out today dry DJs really dont play his music like that. Jamaica dash him away.

Just did a meds this to ...he's a bigger artist international than in Jamaica world boss run dance hall
@MosesBai14 жыл бұрын
Obviously he had his prime, just like every artist does... and he can still chart (he did a couple years ago with Sia). Regardless of the numbers, he’s a legend, a living legend. Let’s appreciate ppl while they’re still alive!

Let's face it Sean Paul is just not accepted in Jamaica for his music because he's not from the trenches, he's an uptown kid. Jamaicans give the uptown kids a hard time because dance hall music is associated with the ghetto. What else is he supposed to do but go international. The good thing is he didn't "dash weh" Jamaica like they did him.

@@danielomingomingsr9203 it's true and he's one of the biggest artistes out of Jamaica. 🤷🏾♀️.
