Strickland scared me but he sent it hard that second time around!! 👏 👏 I’ve been riding my whole life but tracks always scared me. Seeing him go for it so soon is nuts. After casing it a few times falling short I stuck to the woods and desert riding. It’s like night and day after he got a few laps in. I’ve sent it like that early on and had my rear fender pound my head into the ground after getting bucked. Stoked to watch this. Let’s see some camera shots. He called quits at the right time. Take that win and walk away 🏆

coming back from a first ride uninjured is the most important thing. you want them to leave with a positive experience. don't even really focus on technique that much unless its going to get them hurt or its a simple fix a baby could figure out like stand more. Just let them have fun and next time they come out you can get a little more serious. Thats what my dad did to me because i started kinda late. I'm sure if that first ride left me injured or my dad was constantly giving me pointers I would not have the motivation to come back. 7 years later, I flip (as long as the frame is not bent or some other major malfunction) mx bikes for a summer job and go out as much as I can.
