Strickland can dish a whole bunch out but he can’t take anything back. “Context”??? The context of what DDP said was to emphasize that he is gonna beat him badly when they step inside the cage for 5 rounds or less. He never said child abuse was funny. Was what he said distasteful? Of course. But does Strickland really expect no low blows to come at him when he literally crosses the line every single time.

Mocked things stated and done by adults. Nobody forced O'Malley and Garry to marry those women, they did that in clear conscience and knew there would be backlash. Mocking defenseless children for getting abused and m* lested is scummy. I don't agree with Strickland on many things, yet I sympathize with how he feels since childhood trauma is a real haunting thing, unlike a grown adult's ego getting hurt because someone made fun of their trainer kissing them on the mouth in a hyper-masculine environment such as the UFC.

The responsibilities of your actions mainly as an ADULT (such as Garry & his wife or Sean O’Malley & his wife) are on you. But not getting how things you didn’t ask for, like child abuse or things you can’t control, like who Leon’s dad was, is evil & unforgivable! And ask a phycologist, based on the type of relationship O’Malley has with his woman, for sure he has sexual issues because of things that happened in his childhood. Otherwise, you can’t explain his dirty adult swinger life!

It’s about context. Remember too when ddp did all this Sean was just going off on Colby and the dad stuff. Then ddp does it to him. And it’s different context here. He said that he doesn’t talk about ppls families when he said the Ian thing and teasing someone that your not fighting that the things not really serious at all and it def isn’t traumatic events compared to being in a heated argument about to fight someone and they bring up severely traumatic events. There’s a big difference. The dead bus situation he was bringing awareness to how ppl don’t care cause he’s not famous. Should he have made the joke? No. It wasn’t right but it’s a different context. ITS ALL ABOUT CONTEXT.
@dangerouslydubiousdoubleda98218 ай бұрын
What's the context in shitting on a dead woman whats the context in calling a guy who was talking about his own trauma a pussy, Khalil was thinking about killing himself when he was a child, what is the justifiable context in calling him a pussy. Everyone has stuff in their life they get upset about. You don't think maybe some of the women in the UFC might feel someway about the blatant misogyny sean spews? You don't think they might have faced something triggering in terms of sexism? You don't think some people haven't suffered due to the stigma and hatred for gay people Everyone has trauma's, these are serious traumas, that earned no grace from Sean, but his trauma deserves more respect? If you can't handle your own trauma getting exposed, don't talk about other peoples trauma, don't spew hate, and expect vitriol.

@@dangerouslydubiousdoubleda9821 I stated that the dead woman and the Khalil stuff is wrong. (May have been in another post somewhere)It’s not ok. I’m not even saying what Sean did is ok. At all. But until the Khalil and girl were brought up the other examples of Ian and the bus guy are apples and oranges. Have not the same context at all. What’s actually more similar is ddp and Colby. The same ppl who are praising ddp are the same ppl who said colby was a pos. And remember Sean just went on a rant about colby before ddp did it so there’s that. If ppl want to be fair they need to be fair all the time. It seems that the mma community is literally only liking ppl so they can hate on someone else. Last week Sean was the greatest person ever now today he’s a worthless scumbag. Last week they hated colby for saying some really screwed up stuff this week ddp is the goat because he said some really screwed up stuff. They’re not fans of ppl they fans of putting down ppl. And most ppl are talking about Ian and the bus guy. And they’re acting like it’s the same. It’s not. There’s a big difference in teasing someone and making light of a situation that he felt strongly about and wanted to bring awareness too (whether it was right or wrong doesn’t matter) and someone in a heated argument intentionally trying to hurt someone. What’s the context and the intentions. Ppl can dislike whoever they want but praising ddp for what he did is not ok. Just like it wasn’t ok when Colby did it. Those are more equivalent comparisons.
@opietaylor57788 ай бұрын
@@Asiyah2000 where’s the double standards? I’m saying y’all have the double standard. It’s wrong for Colby and Sean but ddp is perfectly fine. And don’t call ppl incels. I didn’t show double standard I simply pointed out context and intentions. So it’s not the same thing. It really isn’t. I would have more of a scientific standard then anything. As I’ve stated before the Khalil and girl stuff is wrong. And other things he’s done is wrong. But comparing Ian and what ddp said beyond reasonable. And if I was a Sean Strickland incel you’d need ppl like me because there’s someone with character. Everyone who flips flops all the time would sell out anyone they knew for a dollar. Someone’s friend this week but next week bye see ya later. Cause last week Sean was everyone’s hero now this week he’s the most hated man. Again great analysis mma Joey. You also hit the nerve on your point of view. It’s truly the irony if a gay dude cheered for Strickland and in no sense am I advocating, except it’s the hypocrisy. I am not excited to see Canadas disappointment with this fight. It’s a cruel industry to be in and mma Joey , you have put together a nice program.

Why does showing emotion about abuse make Strickland a hypocrite?
@danpugh47397 ай бұрын
Because he acts like a big tough guy with no emotion and says anything to people like calling them pussys when they tear up about there child hood and turns around and does the same exact fuckin thing
@51187corey8 ай бұрын
I agree he is being hypocritical but you sir are trying to discourage people disagreeing with your point by preemptively calling people incels

Strickland is the most hypocritical person out there. I cannot stand him and think he is the most cringy person since the podcast episode with the Nelk boys He went on to their platform, called them name and said he doesn’t respect them because of how they dress. He is supposed to be the imagine of a “man” but doesn’t see how belittling someone for no reason is the opposite of what he stands for.

Yall call anything with empathy and nuance liberal. Saying this is liberal, means you are admitting conservatism is openly devoid of compassion and empathy, you are basically saying conservatism is an ideology of a cartoon villain, congrats you fucking dumbass.
@dangerouslydubiousdoubleda98218 ай бұрын
@@deepaknambisan3251 I love how the "both sides" people will openly just call anything that extends empathy and compassion and nuance "liberal" and think its a bad thing? These people are hilarious.

the thing is, Sean actually IS out of his mind. Dricus said I'll beat yuou worse than your father but Sean was saying he lost his shit on Dricus because he said his Dad raped him, when that was Sean O'malley (absolute pos) that said this to Chito Vera (and for no understanabe raeason reason, and got away with it scott free, beyond f*cked up, dude actually should of got cancelled) But I digress, for Sean to screw this up says ALOT! Don't know why I'm the only one pointing these things out...

He wasn't advocating for abuse, he was clearly using humor to cope about the fact that he was abused and also saying that he is tough and he was abused so maybe if these soyboys were abused they would be more like him. Clearly satire
