There's some footage I saw in the gym before Sneako sparred Sean and the same person that was warning him about about throwing too lightly was also telling him not to do it at all unless he wants to get knocked out. Sneako was being kind of cocky and didn't listen to the other people in the gym so it's fair play I think. Next time he spars he won't be scared to get hit.

Not sure if u will see this or not but I know u had shoulder dislocation issues like I do. I wanna get into MMA i have a small bit of judo wrestling an boxing training only thing stopping me is my shoulders. Can u give me any advice? Any is appreciated

Get on a bed, or a sofa, with the correct clearance for your shoulder behind you. Mine was tucked, I found stretching the bits inside and getting stress on them helped. Whenever I would go at full extension it would click and felt like it was unstable, you gotta stretch it to where the tissues would be under tension at full extension in say a jab or long hook, and train them. Mine usually cracks and it feels as though a bunch of gunk is getting work d out. If ur living arangement allows for it (mine didn’t really bc I live at home) try to get a sofa, or a bed, where you can lie and stretch your body out, so you can really stretch the inner components of your shoulder. I felt like I needed to do that but couldn’t because of my home, and my shoufker was stuffed for over a year. The minute I started doing what I felt like I needed in assuming those positions, my shoulder began recovering, and now it’s almsot as good as new, I can do all the same postions and throw at basically the same speed and intent. Godspeed, hope this helps you. Look into knees over toes guy shoulder protocol. He’s learned some of the same stuff I have, but he does his bulletproofing with other parts of his body folded up, I find it’s most valuable when you can stretch EVERYTHING out at once, THEN go into your bulletproofing movemenrs. the body is linked after all

So im a medical doctor and did some time in orthopaedics. Not sure how old you are and when your dislocation was. Iv also done mma and bjj and some amateur competitions. My advice is ensure your shoulder is nice and healed. Usually with younger people there may be associated bony injuries (hill sachs; bony bankart) or soft tissue injuries (labral)soft tissue bankart, labral injuries or ligament injuries that can lead to recurrent dislocations. So if those are there then they need to be sorted out or else you will continue to get dislocations and further damage the structures and joint as this happens. So perhaps see an orthopaedic doctor and get an MRI. then ease into things and some help from a physio will help too. And ease into training after that gradually being mindful of positions that can cause you to dislocate. Assuming you had an anterior dislocation that would be falling on an outstretched hand and like a an americana type position in bottom mount in bjj. And go from there. There are professional athletes who obviously have dislocations and injuries and they usually have a good team to manage them. So depending on what your goals are from the medical side i would say thats about the most solid way to go forward. Also if you need surgery the treating ortho will advise you ok activity and risk. They will always be on the side of caution and will almost certainly advise you to do the least risky type of activities but you can gauge from there how much you want to risk things. Getting treated by one of the guys who normally treat athletes will help alot because they understand things from that angle a bit better. All the best bro and hope that helps. 🇿🇦 My

That stuff will be just fine and won’t slow you down as a consequence of strength gained like just traditional flat or incline bench will

Go for runs. Shadow box, do burpees. Jumping jacks. Push ups. Simple stuff like that will always work. Plus there's many variations. Also work in some explosive exercises for legs. Box jumps, squat jumps, broad jump. Plyometrics. I like doing sand bags throws or I'll throw around a tire lol. Gets those hips firing. Full extension overhead and behind. Same motion as a kettlebell swing which are good to.
