This is what I needed to see. The TK Tools put to real world use. It really helps me to visualise how I would use it in my day to day workflow. I am very pleased I bought the TK Tools! Thanks Tony and Sean!

As a landscape photographer. Do you ever try to remove haze in mountains or leave a scene that has haze alone. Do you use a haze filter? Not to start a fuss but do you use Tony’s actions located behind the TK7 CX. I know he has one for dehaze and one for the line of light (not described well I know) along the ridge.

I don't try to remove haze but I'll work with it in various ways. A polarizer can help reduce haze a little. I've never used a haze filter. In some cases, a little atmospheric haze can provide a great atmospheric element and interesting light diffusion so in those cases I embrace it and perhaps even enhance it. If the haze is not photogenic then I'll probably won't even get out the camera. I was one of the people who helped Tony create the Dehaze action in the TK panel. I do use that action as well as high pass clarity and the dehaze slider in Lr/Camera Raw, among other ways, to increase clarity, detail and contrast if I feel it makes the image better.

Hey Edward, this is a sample chapter from a longer video course I offer. If you are new to luminosity mask techniques then working through the entire course would be help it make more sense. 😀
