Great song and great video. Chord diagram was very helpful. Is there any rhyme or reason you might know about bossa nova music theory or chord progressions? I watched many of your videos on breaking down songs ( Im a proud Patreon subscriber) but this chord progression is like no other you taught.

Hi Sean. Quick question for you. How good do I need to be to start busking? It would just be me and an acoustic guitar. I don’t have a great singing voice but I can switch chords and do a few embellishments. I’ve never gigged but would like to get into doing some kind of performing. I started guitar 5 years ago, in my mid 40s. So whattya think?

Not sure if Sean will reply but I say just do it. Learn a bunch of songs that you like playing and do your best, maybe hit an open mic somewhere also, they're usually a welcoming crowd. I'm a late starter also, started playing guitar in my early 40's and I occasionally play gigs, it's taken a while (15 years) but I'm finally starting to get more comfortable performing in front of people. Good Luck to you - AND you gotta wear those boots when you play!!

Yeah exactly, there's really no barrier of entry. Just got out and do it. I think busking is the perfect way to start getting into the gig atmosphere, you can literally pack up and stop whenever and there are no stakes! Go do it!

Thank you both for your responses, I appreciate you both taking the time. I’m going to polish up 8 or ten songs and give it a shot. And I’ll definitely have boots on lol, that way if I get kicked off the street at least I’ll look good packing up my guitar and finding somewhere else to go. 😂
