Poor stitching aside, the inconsistency with the design placements may actually be intentional because, in Japanese design, there's a concept of embracing imperfection. It's called wabi-sabi. I'm not sure if Nike did this intentionally, but I do think recognizing that concept made me appreciate these flaws more. There's more character in things that appear handmade and imperfect. As long as it doesn't impede functionality, I'm cool with it.

The Industrial blue is a lot more forgiving in terms of quality issues. That dark stitching is so noticeable on the orewood.

I had a QC on my Industrial blue pairs. Toebox was slightly out shape. I’ve wore a few time now b have kept pressing around the front end of the mud guard hoping it will form it’s shape. Overall they both nice. I got both pairs n an extra pair of Industrial Blue’s. Doubt I’ll be wearing the lighter Cw much due to British weather 😢

I got the brown pair and they're almost totally flawless. There is one tiny brown thread that is crisscrossed over a few inches of the left side of the left toe box. You can barely see it I guess I got lucky

I picked up the blue pair as well, straight from Nike. They came in with major defects so I had to return them. Currently I'm debating if I should order a new pair or not, but I'm afraid that they would again have some major issues so that's why I'm probably gonna hold of on this release. Very dissapointing, as they are one of the best looking Dunks out there

@Bart Yes, by myself, I found out the best solution is to use, baked soda with water and brand new/used toothbrush, then leave it in the sun, this is the best for me, and be careful try to clean these soon as you get them dirty, don't leave stains for too long.

just copped these today, same inconsistencies on the stitching on the orewoods, along with the longer strings to snip off. probably just poor manufacturing since it’s not a rare occurrence, but the different look and feel of the uppers makes up for the inconsistencies. thanks for the quality review sean 🤍
