One of the original greatest loop guitarists in the world, Phil Keaggy used the rack version way back in the 80’s and still does to this day.

That jam around the 21:00 min mark was sick. Great demo dude. I would love to see some more looping doing an ambient metal or something similar to modern P&W. I know that’s a weird combo, but I am who I was made to be. 😊

Great review! How did you get the lead sound at 16:30? Amazin!

The solo sound is most likely the Keeley Super Rodent with a slight gain boost from a clean boost.

@@SeanPierceJohnsonthank you? And how do you get that ambient whooshy sound? Seems some kind of super open reverb

@@MrLucakeller the more LoFi tones are thanks to the Chase Bliss Generation Loss mk2. As far as ambience, it’s a combo of the Keeley Halo and Walrus Audio Mako R1

Yea I saw they released this, but honestly I don't why, it's years too late. I'm struggling to find anything it does better than the Boss RC-5. I feel like they could have innovated more with this pedal, but since this was already in the pipeline when they briefly closed shop, I guess they decided just to release it since the work was already done.

For those are looking to buy the Jaman Solo HD, the older Jaman Solo XT is exactly the same pedal, with the only difference being the new HD model has upgraded AD/DA components. BUT the audio quality as per the manual are the same for both models at 16bit/44.1khz. The casing is exactly the same, so not sure what other differences are apart from being alot more expensive. A used XT is < $100, while a HD is $230+ 😮

Hi! Where did you get those amazing drum tracks??
@HumbleHeartMinistry16 күн бұрын
The main reason I am interested in this is being able to save 200 songs via the sd card. I have an Aeros Looper and Beatbuddy synced with the MIDI Maestro, which works great for creating the songs I use for backing tracks to play live performances. I have an old digitech looper I mix them down to for quick access for the performing live, But it only holds so much, and is getting old. This one will hold double the amount on the sd card, with enough time for them to be full songs, and is half the size of my older one. Would this sync to my Beatbuddy? Didn’t see a midi in/out on it. I wouldn’t even hesitate buying it if it did. Anyways, thanks for the review!

Just got this pedal. The rhythm volume knob does absolutely nothing. Right out of the box the rhythm volume is completely useless. Doesn’t even affect the mix between recorded loops and the drum machine. Just got off reading forums and I’m not the only one. Apparently the only way to get rid of the rhythm/drum track is go into submenu and turn it completely off. I am beyond perplexed at this. Why even have a rhythm volume knob? It’s surreal not to have this obvious issue not even mentioned in this and other tutorials. I must be missing something except I’m not the only one who is based on the forums I checked. Wtf Digitech? Sure it’s fine if you want to just play to a drum machine as a solo guitar player out of the box, it’s plug and play for these folks. But if someone prefers to tap out there out rhythm they have to stoop down and scroll painfully through submenus. It’s only been two days to be fair but I have yet to get the rhythm volume knob to do anything at all. Scratches head…

The drum quality sound is impressive, would it sound that good played directly through an amp?
@SeanPierceJohnsonАй бұрын
I wouldn’t think so. It would be colored by the amp’s preamp and speaker choices.

How is the connection, from the guitar -- looper -- amp Cos I can see soo many cables Any explanations friend
@SeanPierceJohnson5 ай бұрын
The cable you see are simply stereo in and stereo out. The guitar is going into my normal gigging pedalboard with a normal mono guitar cable. At some point in the board the signal is split into stereo for delays and reverb. My amp sim pedal, the Walrus Audio ACS1, is at the end of the chain. From that stereo output it goes into the JamMan Solo HD. Then out of the JamMan Solo HD stereo to my recording interface.
